Improve efficiency in your kitchen with this Hoshizaki CR110A 110 1/2" 4 drawer refrigerated chef base! This base is the perfect stand for your countertop griddle, charbroiler, or range. The 16 gauge stainless steel top has a capacity of 1500 lb. so you can line up heavy cooking equipment, while the marine edge and 1" upturn on each end help keep equipment secure and prevent spills from running onto the floor. Plus, the built-in ceramic heat shield prevents temperature transfer between the top and the refrigerated cabinet.
The refrigerated base is perfect for keeping cold food at safe holding temperatures prior to cooking. Since the base keeps food stored right at the location where it will be cooked, your staff can save time when it comes to locating supplies and reduce the number of trips they need to make to your storage area during a shift. By saving time and reducing labor, this chef base helps your kitchen run more efficiently.
This base features 4 individual drawers that can each hold up to (3) 12" x 20" x 6" food pans (sold separately) for a total of 12 pans. The drawers are made of stainless steel, inside and out, and the drawers and the cabinet are all insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane to help maintain food temperatures. Each drawer has a flush mount handle for easy opening and also has finger cut-outs inside for easy removal of food pans. The drawer frames, rollers, and stops are all made of heavy-duty stainless steel with a welded construction and are securely fastened to the cabinet for a long-lasting usable life. The magnetic drawer gaskets are easy to remove for cleaning.
To keep the cabinet cold, this unit uses a 1/5 hp compressor and eco-friendly R-290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally-responsible choice for your business. The solid state digital controller has temperature alarms and an LED display. It can be set to hold temperatures between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit comes with 4" casters that make it easy to move for cleaning and maintenance. This chef base requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
