Its auger and evaporator are both made of stainless steel to provide durability and corrosion resistance. A sensor monitors water levels and prevents damage caused by operation with insufficient amounts. This unit produces fast-melting flake ice—a good choice for blending into smoothies or serving to patients in care facilities.
The interior of the Ice-O-Matic MFI0500A/B40PS ice machine’s accompanying bin is lined with polyethylene, which won’t harbor bacteria or debris, ensuring ice remains fresh and free of dust.
