Providing two sections with reach-in access, the True STA2F-4HS-HC freezer is useful for storing a large volume of frozen food or ice cream at -10 degrees Fahrenheit. It's designed with Dutch doors, enabling users to access stored contents without releasing too much cold air from the freezer. Between its two sections, it features six shelves to provide support for product as it's kept cold. Made of wire, the shelves facilitate air circulation within the unit and are chrome plated for increased corrosion resistance. Circulating air with increased efficiency, this freezer features ECM style condenser and evaporator fans. Upon start up of the condensing fan motor, it runs in reverse for 20 seconds to blow dust and debris off the condenser coil. Because this coil is subjected to regular cleaning, the refrigeration system runs more efficiently and reduces energy consumption compared to those running with dirty components. This self-cleaning feature is designed to prolong the unit's lifespan, but it doesn't eliminate recommended maintenance procedures.
Its exterior is primarily made of stainless steel, lending the True STA2F-4HS-HC two section reach-in freezer durability and corrosion resistance in high-volume establishments. Facilitating setting adjustments, the unit's temperature control and exterior display panel are digital. Each self-closing door has a stay-open feature that activates when the door is opened beyond 120 degrees, while magnetic one-piece gaskets ensure air doesn't leak out when the doors are shut. For streamlined cleaning, the gaskets can be removed with no tools needed. This unit features LED interior lighting that's safety shielded to withstand wear and impact.
