The True STR2R-2G reach-in refrigerator has a top-mounted refrigeration system that is perfect for kitchens that have lots of debris in the air. As flour and dust settle to the ground, they will not be sucked into the system since the compressor is high above the floor. The self-contained capillary tube system uses R-134A refrigerant to maintain cool temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The electronically commutated condenser and evaporator fan motors move a more consistent volume of air, producing less heat and using less energy.
When the compressor is turned on, the condensing fan motor directs air in an opposite direction to remove debris off the condensing coil. This mechanism helps reduce the risk of inefficient operation, keeping product cooler and elongating lifespan. Though the motor is effective, it should not replace general preventative maintenance.
Thermal, double-pane glass doors and LED interior lights allow for full visibility of products without opening the door. These doors are self-closing but have a stay-open feature at 120 degrees. Cold air leaks are prevented with the magnetic door gaskets that easily remove for cleaning. High-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation also help retain the cabinet's cold air. The exterior and interior of this unit are made from stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. The True STR2R-2G reach-in refrigerator has 5-inch-diameter castors that allow you to easily move the unit for cleaning.
